Worldbuilding - The Player Characters
It's been a while since I've posted - in truth I've been more focussed on putting my first few episodes of Stories From The First Watch together. But now I've reached six published episodes, I think it's time to consolidate what we have found out about this world. I'll be doing a series of posts focussing on different aspects of the show.
First of all, the Player Characters themselves (are they really Player Characters if there are no players?). Below I will list their attributes, hit points and equipment as of episode 4, plus what we know of their background.

Elmander is a tall, athletic man, who is experienced in combat, but tends to avoid it if possible. He spent his youth in the Border Guards of the Southern Steppes, but he recently absconded for reasons unknown. He is associated with an unknown shadowy organisation, who have tried to betray him, so he is currently focussed on saving his skin, and travelling with the party is as good a reason as any to escape his pursuers. He was childhood friends with Nella at the Saint and Ogre, but is not a member of the Grey Fellows.

Narvi is one of the Shavinvar, or Copper Dwarves. He has been chosen as an envoy to Lord Merrick of Forlond, to sort out a trade dispute. However, he has been unsuccessful, and he is dismayed that his failure, coupled with the fact he punched the lord's nephew in a tavern brawl, could jeopardise relations even further. He is keen to return to Shazinbund as soon as possible.

I have forgotten possibly the most important piece of equipment - Kilia's map of the Hollow Hill tunnels!
